Death is kind and patient towards the living, because all will die despite their best efforts. She loves those who persist and prolong life, for they will also wander the halls of her kingdom. One day, she receives word that war is about to break out among the living, and she enters the world of mortals in order to prevent a massive loss of life. Along the way, she mingles with mortals and flirts with her angel of death, all while drinking tea and trying to stop a war.
