An introverted and pessimistic student, Ruruxi freezes every time he sees Arlind because he lacks the confidence to reveal his feelings for her. One morning, a mysterious light appears from the sky and hits Ruruxi. He starts to notice changes in his body, becoming more and more pessimistic while also developing unusual powers. As he tries to get rid of this change, he discovers the light came from another world—Eutopia. What lies beyond that world?
