Hui Shen is from China and gets sent to school for Engineering, but while he's at school China is facing a war that his family didn't want him to be a part of. While he's at school, he learns how to speak English with another Chinese person named Ting Ting, she goes around and helps him during school and teaches him. After he meets Neptune, he's not sure what his sexuality is. But he does want Neptune to come home with him once the war is over.
