Born your average boy, after witnessing the death of his father at the hands of the serial killer, Butcher Bobo, young Gatso Hizomi sought to become a hero and see justice done. Recognizing the boy’s potential, model heroes, Steel Bearman and Tifa Kitsune took the boy under their wing and trained him so that Gatso may strive to do great things. The training he endured, readied Gatso to make the journey to Hero Island under his new identity as the hero-in-training, Chop Master.
