In a post-enlightenment world, where all have achieved immortality, the planet's dwellers ensue in war to keep to their daily entertainment. The quest is to perform a successful martial arts experiment to bring back mortal warriors. Shinobu, a lonely martial artist, is promised his mortality if he successfully produces the task.
