The year is 2004.  After suffering a devastating heartbreak over the summer, 16-year-old Celeste Monet tries to win back her ex-boyfriend, Miles Baylor, a down-to-earth country boy; however, her life ends up completely turned upside down when she meets Angelo Lawson, a spoiled playboy from a wealthy family.  Celeste will have to figure out how to navigate friendships, romances, and high school and still make it to adulthood alive.
