This was originally drawn on note cards, and tinted digitally for print. It was fun to think about the kinds of adventures my kid would have if he was in his favorite video game world. I wanted to model an adventure where he had agency, companionship and mysteries to solve. Every morning I'd make coffee, pack his lunch box and draw a new panel until the end of the school year.
