Volt, a teenage inventor and engineer, lives in a world filled with the heroic "Superbs" and the chaotic "Evilions". Finding himself in the aftermath of a great tragedy, he seeks out new allies as he continues his family's work of ending the war of The Unkind Field. However, the evil he faces is ancient, methodical, and more unrelenting than anything he has ever encountered. Will he drown in the waves of ash? Or will the God above show mercy on his soul?
