Cast out by their people as a child because of being different from the rest, this leads Ulus to meeting new people thus creating their own family and embarking on many adventures, though things go down hill when Ulus discovers just how different they are and time catches up with them, the people of Cumu (the city in the sky) soon come to regret casting them out as they realize that their city is on the verge of collapse, but why? though the people of Cumu aren't the only ones after Ulus.
