«Please spare me from this, I only want oblivion» begged an old woman who received a gift of foresight. Getting the ability to become a witness of people’s fortunes seemed like a gift, but plunged the woman into madness. The gift was way too heavy to bear. The beginning and end of all things were shown to her at the same time, which drove her mad, pushing her into an endless abyss of horror and despair. It was Death’s first attempt to share his world with people.
