Takeno Surahara is a young man who has a relatively normal life until his Best friend Akira Nagase who has been acting strangely recently, bites him! now his life has been flipped upside down and his normal life of mundane attendance in school and happiness has been turned into a life of dwelling in the shadows and having to drain blood from innocent creatures and now he must stop a whole host of vampires with his new found abilities
