To Kenji, the world was simply black and white; unchangeable, binary, and bleak. His writing career had hit rock bottom. He had no family to his name or anyone of significance in his life. All he knew was if he were to die, he wanted to rest at the bottom of the sea. Fed up, he attempts to conclude his own life but every time he finds himself dragged out of the sea and thrown back onto land by an unidentifiable figure.
