Simon Hellard is just like any other 17-year-old. He spends his entire day playing video games, snacking on junk food, or avoiding social interaction so that he won't have to face the reality of his best friend's mysterious, unsolved death from a year ago. But one day he suddenly gets approached by an old friend, Marnie, who he lost touch to after Theo's death, who tells him about a threatening phone message she received, implying Theo might be still alive.
