We owe you some news on our Webtoon x Patreon Program. We are working diligently with our partners at Patreon to build on the resources and support for our creators. More about that later.

 

For now, congratulations to all of you on your success. Discover creators earned over $750,000 in the first year of the program. Twenty titles from Discover were picked up to become Featured Webtoons and they now reach millions of readers around the world every week.

 

Million Dollar Discover Fund

Now, we are happy to announce the Million Dollar Discover Fund! This is a new one million dollar commitment to growing the Discover community and to help YOU make money. The Million Dollar Discover Fund will begin on November 1^st, 2017, and end when the accumulated sum of direct pledges reaches $1,000,000 USD, or at 11:59 PM EST, December 31^st 2018, whichever comes first.

 

For now, the current program tiers will continue through December 31^st, 2017. So creators, come get some of this money.

In the new year we will be expanding our creator development program with exciting features. Here’s a taste of what will be launching in 2018:

-Revised tiers to support the growth and health of the overall Discover community.

-Marketing support and programming stunts designed to showcase Discover titles.

-Product implementations to ease fans’ ability to support creators. You may have noticed Discover recently had a facelift to allow more readers to find more new content, more easily.

-New ways for you to monetize your content on Webtoon

-A commitment to more Discover titles than ever being developed for Featured.
